The Essex County Busting Breast Cancer Initiative presents “An Afternoon of Music and Merriment” with the Honky Tonk Women of Gloucester at the John Archer Estate in Danvers. The event includes the grand prize raffle drawing of an original oil painting by Gloucester artist, Charles Movalli

The event is presented by the Essex County Busting Breast Cancer Initiative on Sunday, Oct. 23 from 3-5 p.m. at 10 North St., Danvers. Enjoy the seasoned four-part harmony of the Honky Tonk Women of Gloucester as they take the audience on a musical journey through the chartbusting songs of the 50s and 60s.

The Essex County Busting Breast Cancer Initiative is celebrating the grand prize drawing of the original framed oil painting, valued at $4,000 and donated by Gloucester artist Charles Movalli in memory of his friend and colleague, Carleen Muniz. Tickets can still be purchased for $25 and will be on sale at the event. The initiative has raised $10,000 of their $20,000 goal.
